Description
Adsunib 25mg Capsule contains Sunitinib (25 mg per capsule), a targeted anti-cancer medicine from the tyrosine kinase inhibitor group. It works by blocking specific proteins that cancer cells use to grow, and it also limits the growth of new blood vessels that feed tumours. It is prescribed for cancers such as renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer), gastrointestinal stromal tumour (GIST), and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours, as decided by the treating oncologist. Each bottle contains 28 capsules.

Directions for Use
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed by the oncologist.
It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not chew, cut or crush it.
Do not change the dose or stop treatment without consulting the doctor.
Important Safety Information
Sunitinib can affect the liver. Regular liver function monitoring is part of treatment, and the doctor should be told at once about yellow skin or eyes, dark urine or severe stomach pain.
Other risks include high blood pressure, heart problems, bleeding, thyroid changes, low blood counts, hand-foot skin reaction, mouth sores, diarrhoea, nausea, fatigue and taste changes.
Tell the doctor about existing heart, liver, thyroid or blood pressure conditions and all other medicines or supplements being used.
Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the doctor advises otherwise. Effective contraception is advised during treatment.
Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice unless the doctor says otherwise.
Report any serious side effects (bleeding, chest pain, breathlessness, severe rash, persistent vomiting) to a doctor immediately.
