Description Caditam 20mg Tablet contains Tamoxifen (as tamoxifen citrate, 20 mg per tablet), a hormonal anti-cancer medicine from the selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) group. It blocks estrogen from attaching to estrogen receptors in breast tissue, which helps slow the growth of estrogen-dependent breast cancer cells. It is prescribed for the treatment of breast cancer, and in some women at high risk of breast cancer or with DCIS to reduce that risk, as decided by the treating doctor. It is a hormonal therapy, not a conventional chemotherapy medicine. Each strip contains 10 tablets. It is manufactured by Cadila Pharmaceuticals.
