Description Temcad 100mg Capsule contains Temozolomide (100 mg per capsule), an oral anti-cancer chemotherapy medicine from the alkylating agent group. Once in the body, it converts to an active form that damages the DNA of cancer cells, which slows or stops their growth. It is prescribed for certain brain tumours, namely glioblastoma multiforme (including newly diagnosed cases along with radiotherapy) and anaplastic astrocytoma that has returned or progressed after earlier treatment, as decided by the treating oncologist. Each pack contains 5 capsules. It is manufactured by Cadila Pharmaceuticals.
